2. The lotus is the national flower of Vietnam.
3. Vietnamese food is considered among the healthiest in the world. It is also extremely delicious!
4. Vietnam is the global number one exporter of cashew nuts and black pepper.
5. Vietnamese has six different tones so changing the tone of a word changes its meaning.
6. Vietnam’s coastline is 3,444km in length.
7. Vietnam has the fourth highest number of motorbikes in the world. There are 45 million registered motorbikes in Vietnam, I can only imagine how many unregistered ones there are.
8. In 2017 the government announced that it wanted to ban all motorbikes in Hanoi by 2030.
9. Crossing your fingers is basically the equivalent of a F*** you.
10. When in Vietnam why not try the famous Egg Coffee or Ca Phe Trung. It is made by beating an egg yolk and sweetened condensed milk together for about 10 minutes until creamy and fluffy.
