Camps Bay Beach is located just a 15 minute or so drive from the centre of Cape Town. It feels a bit more commercialized than some other beaches in Cape Town, with many hawkers selling artwork on the beach front and even the beach. I personally never like this when you’re trying to explore let alone on a beach which is meant to be a relaxing place. But a simple “no thank you” and they were quick to depart.
The views from this beach are great, ocean straight in front, mountains behind and mountains to your left and right. There is street parking right next to the beach. So, it’s a perfect spot to drop off and take in the views!
